The first type is fully CNC machined hinges made of heavy-duty steel with alloying elements, and the second type is welded hinges made of Ballistic Steel. Both serve the same purpose of supporting the armored door weight, but depending on client preference, we fabricate and provide heavy-duty hinges in either kind. We keep hinges for civilian vehicles such as the Land Cruiser 200 series, Hilux, and Land Cruiser 79 series in stock at CEMAR International. We fabricate and supply heavy-duty hinges for any type of military vehicle or Armored Personnel Carrier upon request.
These hinges have an advantage over OEM hinges in that OEM hinges only take up OEM door weight, whereas our hinges take up-armored door weight.
